I heard of Warong 2000 opening a new branch and headed over to Metrocity, Matang. The restaurant is located next to Alpro Pharmacy. The parking is limited and unpredictable as it is located at one of the busiest areas in Kuching and shares with other myriad of restaurants and stores. When I first entered the restaurant, the first stall I stumbled into was the roti canai stall and the menu is quite decent in amount and variety. On the right side of the restaurant, there is a variety of nasi campur choices and even desserts. The display looks proper, clean and apropos of how nasi campur should look. The left side of the restaurant has a good amount of tables in an air conditioned room whereas I sat at a table outside but is still okay. I ordered roti cheese butter telur goyang and it was delicious. The service of the stall staff was also good and fast. The beverages are decently priced and good as well. There are also other stalls renting behind the restaurant which is allowed to order from and eat inside. The mee kampua and mee jawa was okay to me. Overall, my family and I are quite satisfied with the place. I would definitely visit again to try the nasi campur.
Nice and good food. Lots of choices. When you are here you need to try their anchovy with ulam raja. But the roti canai guys are not so friendly.
Ada option nak dine in outdoor atau aircond area. Keep up the good work hope can maintain this
